Description

Royal Arsenal Old and New...

Did you know that when Royal Arsenal Riverside was a working Arsenal it was so big it had its own railway track?

There was roughly 70 miles of track being used by about 80 steam powered engines! The tracks opened in 1820 and a mainline branch entered the site in 1849.

Whilst today there are no signs of this track of years gone by, you will find the manicured open space of Wellington Park, the ease of a short walk to the River Thames, the commuter links across London and the on-sight facilities of the 24 hour Concierge, residents gym, Tesco Express and Medical Centre are far more useful!

The Property

To get you on the right property track or line up a cute investment is this one bedroom ground floor starter/investment property. Investors will see a regular return of around £1100 per month, whilst First time buyers will be buying on a prime Riverside Development.

Located in Building 22 which is the former Central/Head Office for the Royal Arsenal you are positioned in the heart of the development.

Upon entering the flat you are greeted by the hall way with wood effect flooring which flows through into the living room and bedroom. Off the hall is the utility cupboard which has plumbing for the washing machine and also access to the bathroom.

The living room has the benefit of direct access to its own enclosed terrace facing into the central courtyard. The glazed doors allow a lot of natural light into the room. To the back of the living room is the kitchen with white fronted units complete with built in hob, oven, extractor hood, fridge and dishwasher.

The double bedroom has a large double glazed mock sash window looking into the courtyard and has ample space for bed and wardrobes.

Lastly the bathroom is fitted with white sanitary ware complimented by a light stone coloured tiling to the floor and some wall areas, a nice modern finish.

So whether buying for the 1st time or as an investment this flat is ready to move into without any added expense of refurbishment as it is 'as good as new'
